For our site in Weil am Rhein, we are looking for a
Senior Mechanical Development Engineer - HV Battery Modules (f/d/m) to start as soon as possible.
Your tasks:
- Design and develop battery housings, module integration, and mounting concepts for HV battery systems.
- Define thermal management, sealing, venting, and safety concepts for battery systems.
- Lead mechanical validation, prototyping, and industrialization activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and support testing and certification.
- Drive cross-functional development with other teams and suppliers.
Your profile:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Several years of experience in industrial battery systems or other energy storage systems.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design, thermal management, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Proven ability to drive product development from concept through validation to handover to production and engineering teams.
- Structured and hands-on working style with strong communication skills and experience working in international, cross-functional teams
